ARUAP - User PRofile Screen

Purpose

This screen is used to reduce the entry of repetitive data values. Users are authorized to update only courses they maintain.

Screen Functions

View an existing profile

  1. Either fast path to screen or PF9 from screen ARUAC

Create a profile

  1. At ACTN, enter A
  2. The user may update any or all of the following values:
    At SEMESTER, enter a specific semester
    At LOCATION, enter location
    At COURSE ABBREV/NUMBER, enter a specific course/number
    At COURSE BEG/END DATES, enter specific dates within the selected semester
    At ENROLLMENT LIMIT, enter specific limit
    At ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, enter either additional information or enter "?" to select a value from the drop-down box.
  3. Press ENTER and PF12 to update

Change an existing profile

  1. Either fast path to screen or PF9 from screen ARUAC
  2. At ACTN, enter C
  3. Tab to field(s) to be changed and enter revisions
  4. Press ENTER and PF12 to update the record

Delete an existing profile

  1. Either fast path to screen or PF9 from screen ARUAC
  2. At ACTN, enter D
  3. Press ENTER and PF12 to update

Additional Field Level Detail

USER ID Automatic display field of the users id
ACTN
User may choose function they wish to perform:
A - add/create a profile
C - change an existing profile
S - skip to an existing profile
D - delete an existing profile
SEMESTER Specific semester (ex: FAXXXX) must be equal to or greater than current semester.
Value will be automatically enter in semester field on ARUAC.
LOC Campus location (ex: XX###) Entry of "?" will open a window of valid continuing education location codes (CCRSELOC)
Entry of "?" will open a window of resident education location codes (CLOCN)
Value will be automatically entered in LOC field on ARUAC.
COURSE ABBREV/NUMBER Course abbreviation and number to be modified or created.
Must be a valid course on ARUCU, University Course Master.
Value will be automatically entered in COURSE field on ARUAC (ex: XXXXX ###X) (CCRSEABB)
COURSE BEGIN/END DATES Course begin and end dates. Dates must be within the semester selected. (AMMU) Values will be automatically entered in BEGIN and END field on ARUAC when creating part-semester courses. (ex: MMDDYY)
ENROLLMENT LIMIT Established enrollment for a section.
Value will be automatically entered in ENROLLMENT LIMIT field on ARUAC when creating section (ex: ####)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Optional information used to convey specific information about this section.
Department may use as free text area (maximum 18 spaces) or use drop down box (CADDINFO).
Value will be automatically entered in ADDITIONAL INFO field on ARUAC.
Only one entry may be made in this field.
