ARUPI - IAD Instructor Update

Purpose

This screen is used to maintain the instructor file. To add instructor information and budgets to the file.

Screen Functions

View an instructor

  1. At ACTN, enter S
  2. At INSTRUCTOR ID, enter instructor's identification number
  3. Press ENTER

Add an instructor to the file

  1. At ACTN, enter S
  2. At INSTRUCTOR ID, enter instructor's identification number
  3. Press ENTER
  4. At ACTN, enter A
  5. Double-check the instructor ID
  6. At INSTRUCTOR NAME, enter the instructor last name, first name and middle initial
  7. At HOME BUDGET, enter the home budged number and any necessary budget splits
  8. Press PF12 to update

Add the budget of an instructor

  1. At ACTN, enter S
  2. At INSTRUCTOR ID, enter instructor's identification number
  3. Press ENTER
  4. At ACTN, enter C
  5. At BUDGET SPLITS, enter the home budget number and any necessary budget splits
  6. Press PF12 to update

Change the budget on an instructor

  1. At ACTN, enter S
  2. At INSTRUCTOR ID, enter instructor's identification number
  3. Press ENTER
  4. At ACTN, enter C
  5. At BUDGET SPLITS, add a new budget to the list, or enter the correct budget for the one to be changed
  6. Press PF12 to update

Delete an instructor from the file

  1. Contact the University Budget Office and ask for IAD support

Action field:
S = Skip to record
C = Change record
INSTRUCTOR ID

Instructor's identification number
LAST SEM Last semester that this instructor has taught
• Will be pre-filled whtn the record is updated with instructor ID
FLAG

Location where instructor information was found
• Will be pre-filled when the record is updated with:
V = Volunteer (old value, no longer used)
P = Payroll
H = Human Resources
C = CIDR

INSTRUCTOR NAME

Name of instructor - last name, first name
• Will be pre-filled if the record is on file or enter the name when entering a new instructor
RANK Will be pre-filled if a rank is on file for instructor
FTE

Full Time Equivalent
• Will be pre-filled if there is a FTE on file for instructor
HOME BUDGET Home budget assigned to the instructor
BUDGET SPLITS Maximum of 10 additional budgets may be added here
