ARUPY/ARIPY - Common Year Major Controls

Purpose

This screen is used by the Registrar's office to define the pre-major to be included in the spring Entrance to Major (ETM) process and the credit minimum required for student participation.

Screen Functions

View a record

  1. At ACTION, enter S
  2. At POOL, enter spring pool
  3. Press ENTER

Add a record

  1. At ACTION, enter A
  2. At POOL, enter spring pool
  3. At CREDIT LIMIT, enter minimum total credits earned required for participation in the ETM process
  4. At MAJORS, enter the pre-major codes for the colleges participating in the ETM process
  5. Press ENTER

Change a record

  1. At ACTION, enter S
  2. At POOL, enter spring pool
  3. Press ENTER
  4. At ACTION, enter C
  5. Make necessary changes
  6. Press ENTER

Delete a record

  1. At ACTION, enter S
  2. At POOL, enter spring pool
  3. Press ENTER
  4. At ACTION, enter D
  5. Press ENTER

ACTION
Identifies the function to be performed
S - Skip
A - Add
C - Change
D - Delete
POOL Spring semester identifying an Entrance to Major process cycle (ex: SPXX)
CREDIT LIMIT Minimum total credits earned required for participation in the ETM process
LAST UPDATE Date screen was last updated
MAJORS Pre-major codes for the colleges participation in the ETM process (CDEPT)

Function Keys

ENTER Brings up record, and updates record.
