ARUSTM/ARISTM - Transcript Message

Purpose

This screen is used to add, change, insert or delete messages from the student transcript.

Screen Functions
View a Record Message
  1. At ACTN, enter S
  2. At ID, enter student's identification number
  3. At SEM, enter semester to be viewed
  4. At LEVEL, enter student's degree level to be viewed
  5. At MESSAGE TYPE, enter the appropriate type number
  6. Press ENTER
Add a Record Message
  1. At ACTN, enter S
  2. At ID, enter student's identification number
  3. At SEM, enter semester where the message will be added
  4. At LEVEL, enter student's degree level where message will be added
  5. Press ENTER
  6. At ACTN, enter A
  7. At MESSAGE TYPE, enter the appropriate type number
  8. Add message
  9. Press ENTER
Change/Delete a Record Message
  1. At ACTN, enter S
  2. At ID, enter student's identification number
  3. At SEM, enter semester where message will be changed/deleted
  4. At LEVEL, enter student's degree level where message will be changed/deleted
  5. At MESSAGE TYPE, enter the appropriate type number
  6. Press ENTER
  7. At ACTN, enter C, and make necessary changes
  8. Press ENTER
Insert a Record Message
  1. At ACTN, enter S
  2. At ID, enter student's identification number
  3. At SEM, enter semester where message will be inserted
  4. At LEVEL, enter student's degree level where message will be inserted
  5. At MESSAGE TYPE, enter the appropriate type number
  6. Press ENTER
  7. At ACTN, enter C
  8. At INSERT, enter message to be inserted
  9. At message number you want the new message to appear before, enter X to the left of the message number
  10. Press ENTER

ACTN
Identifies the function to be performed
S - Display
A - Add
C - Change
ID Student's identification number
SEM Allows you to enter a specific date of a request received, or leave it blank, and all requests will be listed.
LEVEL
Identifies enrollment level (CENROLEV)
UG - Undergraduate
GR - Graduate
LW - Law
MD - Medical
NC - Non-Credit
NAME Student's name
COND Condition code that represents an action which generated the message and recalculation methods for the student's transcript. The condition is a key to direct the transcript programs to format the messages.
MESSAGE TYPE Code to indicate where the message will be placed on the student's transcript
1 - Pre-course
2 - Post-course
3 - Action
PRE-COURSE=1 Message that is displayed on transcript prior to semester that is being viewed
POST-COURSE=2 Message that is displayed on transcript after the semester that is being viewed
ACTION=3 Message that is displayed in the "Special Actions And Notes" of the transcript
