Change in duration of drop/add period and LionPATH downtime on August 27, 2016

August 17, 2016 -- Beginning Fall 2016, the regular Course Drop period has been shortened from 10 days to six calendar days (Senate Policy 34-89: Course Drop). The Regular Course Add deadline follows one calendar day after the course drop period. (Senate Policy 34-87: Course Add) A student may drop or add full-semester courses without academic penalty during the drop/add period.

Fall 2016 Regular Course Drop and Add Deadlines

Therefore, the Regular Course Drop deadline for the fall 2016 semester is Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. The Regular Course Add deadline is Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 11:59 p.m.

LionPATH unavailable for 4-hour period on Saturday, August 27, 2016

Please note that students will be temporarily unable to access LionPATH from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 due to a scheduled synchronization of student information from ISIS to LionPATH. Students will have access to LionPATH before 10:00 a.m. and after 2:00 p.m. on August 27 to complete course drops by the 11:59 p.m. regular drop deadline. We apologize for the inconvenience of this disruption and thank you in advance for your assistance as the University completes its final transition to the new student information system.
