ARUAW - SOC Web Publication Dates

Purpose

This screen is used to establish the publication date when the Schedule of Courses will first appear on the Web. This screen may only be updated by Registrar personnel at each location. Screen AMMU (University Calendar) must exist for both the campus and semester before ARUAW can be updated. This screen also determines when the final exam schedule will be available through the Web and eLion.

Screen Functions

Create a semester record

  1. At SEM, enter specific semester
  2. At CAMPUS, enter specific campus
  3. Press ENTER
  4. At ACTN, enter C
  5. At first LOCATION field, enter resident education campus code
  6. At first SOC DATE field, enter date when resident education SOC will first appear on Web
  7. At first FE DATE field, enter date when the final exam schedule will be available through the Web and eLion
  8. At each succeeding LOCATION/SOC DATE field, user may enter a continuing education code and the date when the SOC will first appear on web.
  9. Press ENTER and PF12 to update

View a semester record

  1. At SEM, enter specific semester
  2. At CAMPUS, enter specific campus
  3. Press ENTER

Change a semester record

  1. At SEM, enter specific semester
  2. At CAMPUS, enter specific campus
  3. Press ENTER
  4. At ACTN, enter C
  5. Tab to field to be changed and enter revision
  6. Press ENTER and PF12 to update

Additional Field Level Detail

ACTN
Identifies the function to be performed:
C - Add a record or change an existing record.
S - Skip to an existing record.
SEMESTER
Identifies a specific semester. (ex: FA####)
CAMPUS Field which identifies the specific campus location. (ex: XX) (CLOCN or CCRSELOC)
LOCATION Identifies a specific campus location.
First location must always be a resident campus code. (ex: UP)
Remaining locations must be a continuing education code (CCRSELOC). (ex: UP###)
       - A location code of XX230 must be entered in position 2 on the screen.
SOC DATE Identifies publication date for specific location. This is the date when the SOC will first appear on the Web.
First date field must refer to resident education location. (ex: MMDDYY)
FE DATE Identifies date when the final exam schedule will be available through the Web and eLion.
