Late Drop Period for Fall 2016 Ends This Week
November 7, 2016 -- The deadline to late drop a fall 2016 full semester course is Friday, November 11, 2016. . If a student drops a course during the late drop period, a symbol of ‘LD’ will be recorded for that course on the student’s academic record and the student will be charged a $6.00 processing fee.

Filing Period Deadline for Overload Final Exam Conflicts Extended
October 26, 2016 -- The deadline to file an overload final exam conflict for the fall 2016 semester has been extended from October 31, 2016 to November 7, 2016.

Fall 2016 Final Exam Schedule
October 11, 2016 -- Fall 2016 final exam schedules are in the process of being uploaded to LionPATH. While students and faculty currently are able to see some exam listings in the LionPATH Student and Faculty Centers, it is important to note that your final exams schedule may change over the next week while the upload is completed.

Spring 2017 Schedule of Courses is Now Available
September 21, 2016 -- The Spring 2017 Schedule of Courses is now available in LionPATH. The LionPATH enrollment shopping cart will open on September 28, 2016.

August 23, 2016 -- There are a number of resources for LionPATH users with questions about its functionality — including tutorials and announcements for students, parents and faculty/staff.

Final ISIS to LionPATH Sync
August 17, 2016 -- The final synchronization of student information from ISIS to LionPATH, including historical changes and current and future major and campus changes. After August 28, 2016, the official system of record will be LionPATH. ISIS will effectively be frozen.

Student Academic Data Sync
August 17, 2016 -- Due to the transition of student data from ISIS to LionPATH, students will be unable to access LionPATH from Saturday, August 20, beginning at 10:00 p.m., until Sunday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m.

Links to textbook information now available in LionPATH Student Center
July 5, 2016 -- Students can now view and purchase their fall 2016 textbooks from the LionPATH Student Center.

Student Academic Data Sync
May 16, 2016 -- Beginning Saturday, June 4 at 10:00 p.m. until noon on Sunday, June 5, LionPATH will be unavailable to students so that academic data can be synced from ISIS to LionPATH. Students will be unable to access both the desktop and mobile version of the system during this time.

LionPATH Mobile App Now Available
May 16, 2016 -- The LionPATH mobile app is now available for students to download from Google Play for Android and from the Apple App Store for iOS.

March 24, 2016 -- Current Penn State students recently began enrolling in fall 2016 courses in LionPATH, the new student information system. To help students better understand how to navigate through LionPATH and the new enrollment process, here are answers to commonly asked questions.

Delegated access now accessible in LionPATH
March 17, 2016 -- With the delegated access function in LionPATH, you can grant a parent or guardian the ability to view a selection of your student data for fall 2016 and beyond. Your parent/guardian will continue to use eLion to view spring and summer 2016 student information.

March 15, 2016 -- Registration for fall 2016 courses is right around the corner. Not only will this mark the beginning of a new enrollment process for the University; it also will be the first time students enroll in classes with LionPATH, the new student information system. To help students be ready to register at their appointed time, here is a step-by-step guide to how the registration process works in LionPATH.

Students advised to validate courses in LionPATH shopping cart
March 10, 2016 -- The LionPATH Student Shopping Cart now is available for Fall 2016 course enrollment. Students are advised to "validate" the courses they have placed in their shopping cart before their "First Day to Register" date.

LionPATH Shopping Cart to become available on March 8 at 10:00 a.m.
March 4, 2016 -- The LionPATH Student Shopping Cart now will be released on March 8 at 10:00 a.m. The Shopping Cart is where students can create and maintain their class sections for the upcoming term. It is used to temporarily save classes until it is time to enroll for the term.

February 29, 2016 -- Become familiar with LionPATH terminology with this guide to the new terms used in LionPATH. The guide includes definitions of specific terms and phrases, as well as a comparison to ISIS and eLion terms where applicable.

Fall 2016 Schedule of Classes is now available
February 22, 2016 -- The Fall 2016 Schedule of Classes (SOC) is now available via the LionPATH Public Class Search at: http://public.lionpath.psu.edu.

New enrollment process replaces SCHED to REG
February 10, 2016 -- In fall 2014, the LionPATH steering committee approved replacing Penn State's current SCHED to REG process with a new enrollment process, which no longer includes SCHED status. Students will be considered fully registered when they enroll in classes.

IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE: The Fall 2016 Schedule of Classes will be available starting February 22, 2016
February 9, 2016 -- The Fall 2016 Schedule of Classes (SOC) now is scheduled to be published on February 22, 2016. Students still will be able to log in to LionPATH for the first time starting February 15, 2016, to update contact and directory information.

When should I use LionPATH? When should I use eLion?
February 4, 2016 -- Starting February 15, 2016, current Penn State students will be able to log into LionPATH, the new student information system replacing eLion. While students will begin using LionPATH in February for Fall 2016 enrollment activities, they still will need to continue using eLion for certain academic actions for Spring and Summer 2016.

Fall 2016 Schedule of Courses available February 22, 2016 [*updated with new release date*]
January 22, 2016 -- The Fall 2016 Schedule of Courses (SOC) will be available beginning February 22, 2016. Please note that beginning with fall 2016 courses, the SOC is moving to a new website as part of the University's transition to LionPATH, the new student information system replacing eLion.

10 differences between LionPATH and eLion
January 21, 2016 -- Beginning in 2016, Penn State students will start to see some changes in the way they do business with the University.In February, LionPATH will begin to replace eLion as the new student information system, and by December 2016, LionPATH will be a one-stop-shop to enroll in courses, check grades, pay tuition bills and more. Below are some of the changes during this transition to a new system.
