Courses cannot be deleted after the publication of the schedule of classes, they must be cancelled.
If students are enrolled, you must notify students of the cancellation and download the class roster before you cancel the course through Maintain Schedule of Classes. Once a section is cancelled LionPATH will drop all students.
Download and communicate to the class roster.
To download the roster, click on the "Download Enrolled Students to Excel" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the roster (circled in red).
To communicate to the roster, click on the "Select All" link at the bottom of the roster and then click on the "Notify Selected Students" button (circled in blue).
Clicking "Notify Selected Students" will bring up an email template for you to compose the notification of cancellation.
After notification and the download of the roster has been completed or if there are no students enrolled in the class being cancelled navigate to Maintain Schedule of Classes:
Type the class information into the search fields to bring up the class.
Navigate to the Enrollment Control tab at the top.
